Cupping
An Ancient Art

Cupping (Eastern and Western)

Flame is used to take the oxygen out of a glass cup to create a vacuum or suction effect when it is applied to the body.  When the blood and lymph circulation is sluggish, waste by-products build up, causing stagnation.  Cupping moves vital energy to areas of pain and draws blood stagnation out.  Round bruises may appear but these usually disappear after 3-7 days.  Cupping is good for tired aching muscles, common colds, sacroiliac pain, general back pain, digestive problems, cellulite, scar tissues, muscular-skeletal conditions and menstrual problems.  Cups are fantastic for detoxifying, tightening and toning tissue.
